I just wish I could do something about the screen dimming thing. I put 2GB of ram in this and a Solid State Drive and it works great. I've tried messing around with the settings in the gconf-editor but nothing I do seems to have any affect. Second: I've set the computer to go to suspend when I close the screen but when I open it up it doesn't ask me for a password. I'm not sure what the issue is with this but I would like to darken the screen because it does affect the battery life a lot. When it is a 100% is it 100% bright, but at 97% it is pretty dark, and 60% it is bright again. When I go through the power management to dim the screen and move the slider the brightness of the screen has nothing to do with the position of the slider.
